Here are some of the highlights from the January’s Show & Tell and program. So many beautiful quilts were shared this month. Elsie Gaber discussed the “Be a Buddy, not a Bully” program for Rotary and we all turned in the blocks we’d made for her for that quilt. Next month she’ll have the quilt top ready to share.
Shelly Pagliai and Barb Bevell had a combined program. Barb showed how to make a Cathedral Window Rag Quilt and discussed what worked and what didn’t work when making that quilt. Shelly talked about her blog and the different Challenges that she is hosting this year, including The 350 Blocks Challenge, The Creativity Design Challenge, her Organization Challenge, and her Studio Organizing Challenge. They both talked about how they organize their quilting records and use their journals. For more information on Shelly’s Challenges, please go to Shelly’s website Prariemoonquilts.com.
