The Show & Tell tonight was wonderful. We had a great variety of quilts and most all of the “Seeing Spots” quilts (or parts of quilts) from those who attended the Carl Hentsch retreat. Thanks to everyone for bringing their quilts to share. What wonderful inspiration to all!
Lots of beautiful Show & Tell this month. Enjoy!!
Here are the Show & Tell pictures from the February 2019 meeting. Because everyone was cooped up so long in January, there was a LOT of projects that were completed. Enjoy all the beautiful quilts!
We had a great program on how to make Rope Baskets, given by Deb Freese and Barb Roberts. Deb demonstrated how to start a basket and build layers onto the basket. She also shared how to wrap fabric over the rope for an added effect. Barb shared many examples of finished baskets and different styles of hot mats. Kits were available for purchase, too.
There are loads of pictures to enjoy. So, sit back and be inspired. (The photos from the Show & Tell are at the end.)

November Show & Tell Photos:
Our October guild meeting was full of beautiful quilts, starting with Kris Kilderman from the Sewing House in Ottumwa, Ia., who shared her quilts and discussed color theory. She and her friend used to have the Sewing Bus years ago. Kris told some fun stories about the bus and also provided members with handouts and a free pattern!
And the Show & Tell was equally awesome, with lots of funny stories, to boot.
Jana Russon has been on a bowl-making frenzy and shared some of her colorful bowls with us. It’s a great segway to November’s program by Deb Freese and Barb Roberts on how to make them. (Kits will be available for $5) Be sure to attend and see how easy and fun these are to make!
